Then toddler presses stop.

Off they go to find themselves

We know that they are old school,

That maybe it is time to get rid

Our toddler has received,

A garment that they love so much

On a trip into town,

We have so many, they have got

On Saturday, I should have been

It would have been a rare occasion

Instead we had to rush our toddler

Into A&E.

It was that nightmare Croup again.

Our wee one couldn’t breathe. 🤒

Thankfully the steroids worked,

The Croup cough’s gone away.

It was such crappy timing though,

To happen on that day. 😞

One surprising side effect

Of having kids is you

Will definitely work out what

It is you love to do. 😍

Toddler went straight to sleep.

They’d stay like that for ten hours

And you wouldn’t hear a peep. 😴

But this week it is somersaults.

They’re thrashing all around,

And it is taking bloody ages

For me to get them down. 🤨
